In a pleasing atmosphere, the film tells an unfortunate story, that a genius, a geek, have to compromise to the street rules to get into Harvard. I think the film explained why equity matters in American.

Because of the antiintellectual culture that exists in the black male community, some of their friends may think black males are born to be less smart. I believe this was cuased by the mislead of white Supremacy. So the whole community would think being smart is a humiliating thing.

This situation happened to China as well, with the development of office culture, more and more Chinese company began to demand that their employees must wear a suit to work. It used to be considered as a symnolization of modernlization. After seeing that exhibition, I realize that the office suit culture is nothing more than a new form of colonazation.
